THE POWER OF BEHOLDING THE GLORY OF THE LORD
For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then, face to face; now I know in part,
but then shall I know even as also I am known”…
”When Christ, who is our life, shall appear,
then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” 1 Cor. 13:12, Col. 3:4
The Holy of Holiest… face-to-face with God.
The tabernacle is a shadow of Christ: His redemption, His Church and His Glory (It also applies to us: Body, Soul and Spirit).
Our redemption goes beyond the perception of things seen and understood in the natural realm. We have been taken up into the heavenly realm; where the natural being cannot comprehend or is able to attain it. Just to think that the New Covenant has solely to do with the witness of God: The Blood, The Water and The Spirit, ALL BEING CHRIST AND CHRIST ALONE! (Eph. 2:5-10, 1 Cor. 2:9-16, 1 Jn. 5:8).
We are able to behold Him only on the merit of who He is; not on whom we are. ISN’T THAT GLORIOUS! It overwhelms us to acknowledge that we have come to Him through divine election, giving us the power to choose Him. As never before these words are resounding in our ears: ‘YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN” (Jn. 3:7).
The New Covenant, therefore, is for the redeemed in the BLOOD of the lamb, Christ Jesus. Those whom have been chosen to be a witness who not only have the Spirit of God, but have been born of the SPIRIT and WATER (type of the Word of God), are to SEE and ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD (Jn. 3:3-8).
The New Covenant is a living, powerful covenant, not written in ink but written in our hearts having the power to transform our being from corruptible to incorruptible which is the nature of the new seed, Christ Jesus. It is, and will be, CHRIST IN US THE HOPE OF GLORY! (Col. 1:27) The emphasis always being on Him and not on us. As we behold HIM we are being transformed into His image…
“Now the Lord is that Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord,
are changed into the same image from glory to glory,
even as by the spirit of the Lord.” 2nd Cor. 3:17-18
Through the New Covenant we have the fulfillment of Isaiah 43:10 the prophetic chapter of the redeemed called to be His witnesses:
“You are my witnesses,” says the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He,
Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me.”
