Our Lord knew that which was in men, no one can avoid it, for it is inbred in our nature, it is the “corruptible seed”.

As we go on in Him, we become aware of the fundamental Truth of our existence being in two contrasting natures: One, which is dying away, is earthly, carnal and it will never conform to the will of God. The other is Divine, Holy and celestial in nature in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. It is in this second nature (the new man) that we will delight in God and do His will. It is through the power of the Holy Spirit in whom we have been born again.

How precious to our heavenly Father is our life in Him!
